Face and neck skin lifting (rhytidectomy) is an operation during which face, and neck skin is lifted. As a result, the skin looks younger, the outline of the face appears. During the procedure, special spiked yarns are implanted into skin tissues for 1 / 1,5 years. The operation can be performed on aesthetic facial areas (cheeks, neck, etc.) or can be applied to the entire face, considering individual patient’s problematic skin areas.
After the surgery there are no scars left, only the 2-mm diameter threaded point of insertion is visible, which is usually not noticeable.
Small surface wrinkles or other minor defects that can not be removed during facial skin lifting (rhytidectomy) can be corrected by choosing additional therapies: hyaluronic acid fillers, liposomal fillers, skin tissue replication, skin scrubbing, chemical scrubbing or laser procedures.
