Dr. Loreta Pilipaityte – plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Doctor of Medicine
Physician is very appreciated and regarded between the patients. Her tenderness and sensitivity is very valued, while performing the surgeries she demonstrates only professionalism and diligence.
In 2013, she defended a dissertation “The Clinical Importance of Bacteriological Investigations in Determining the Potential of Infectious Burning Wound Infectious Diseases” (liet. „Klinikinė bakteriologinių tyrimų reikšmė nustatant potencialius nudegimo žaizdos infekcijos sukėlėjus“) at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. She is also a Medical academy lecturer at LSMU. Doctor is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, a participant in national and international conferences. Since 2014, she is the Head of LSMU Kaunas klinikos Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic, Plastic surgery department.
Scientific Activity
Breast reconstructive surgery, wound surgery, aesthetic medicine. Physician is consulting on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, non-surgical facial procedures, hand surgeries at Tautrimas Aštrauskas Clinic.
Membership
Doctor is a member of the Lithuanian Wound Management Association (LWMA), Lithuanian society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the president of the Lithuanian Wound Management Association.
International experience
Traineeship at Zurich, Athens, Milan University Hospitals.
